The Chesterfield County (SC) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. was chartered on Saturday, April 24, 1999, at Grandview Presbyterian Church, Chesterfield, South Carolina. Fourteen local, college-educated women were instrumental in establishing the chapter: Loretta Streater McNeal, Dorothy Arnold*, Pamela Brister, Clarice Blakeney, Sonya Gordon, Patricia B. Conway, Amanda Streater Mitchell Davis*, Karen L. Wilkerson, Leslie Johnson-Ryan, Tina Rivers, Denise Sowell, Cynthia A.
